Green finance projects in action

New freezer saves Oldham bakery almost £12,000 per year

HM Pasties was awarded a grant worth £3,000 towards the cost of the new blast freezer. This has led the business to annual savings of £11,939 and 36.6 tonnes of carbon (tC02e). 

Salford studio saves £22k annually following grant funding

Media-City UK's Un.Titled Studios used grant funding to replace their 40 year old heating system with a heat pump, making annual carbon savings of 70 tonnes (CO2e). 

Tameside nursery makes annual savings on energy bills with green tech

Yellow Door Day Nursery was awarded a grant to replace their existing gas boiler with electric heat pumps, reducing the businesses gas consumption equating to 5.65 CO2e tonnes and creating cost savings of £1,200 each year.
